Li-Ru is a lawyer admitted as an attorney-at-law to the Bar in Taiwan in 2018. Before moving to the Netherlands, Li-Ru had three years of legal practice experience in Taiwan, specialising in dispute resolution and commercial contracting.
Since 2023, Li-Ru has been providing a full range of legal services in Dutch employment law and corporate law, including drafting employment agreements, reviewing employee handbooks, advising on termination procedures, incorporating Dutch legal entities, advising on corporate governance and compliance, and conducting due diligence. In addition, Li-Ru is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in Europe (CIPP/E) and specialises in European privacy and data protection law, including advising on GDPR compliance, drafting privacy policies, and handling matters involving data breaches.
Li-Ru is also an external PhD candidate at eLaw – Center for Law and Digital Technologies at Leiden University, focusing her research on privacy and digital child rights.
Li-Ru is native in Mandarin, fluent in English, and is currently learning Dutch.
